"No downloads. No installs. Just instant access to a completely realized world," added Tom Chen, cloud gaming product lead. "The tech is now at a point where latency is negligible for single-player stories like this."

India Boosts Cloud Gaming with GeForce NOW Ultimate Beta

For the first time, GeForce NOW Ultimate membership lands in India, currently in beta operated by NVIDIA. This introduces Indian gamers to cloud-streamed ray tracing and DLSS 4 performance at no additional hardware cost.

"India has a massive, underserved base of gamers who lack powerful hardware," said Rohit Mehta, a gaming tech analyst. "This beta could redefine how triple-A games are consumed in the region."

Background

GeForce NOW is NVIDIA's cloud gaming service, allowing players to stream games from virtual RTX 4080 rigs. It supports hundreds of titles from stores like Steam and Epic Games, requiring only a subscription and a stable internet connection. PRAGMATA is Capcom's return to sci-fi action, highlighting emergent AI companions and disaster survival in a lunar setting. Its debut on GeForce NOW bypasses traditional hardware bottlenecks.

What This Means

Day-one cloud releases like PRAGMATA signal a shift toward hardware-agnostic gaming. Players on mobile, laptops, or smart TVs can experience cutting-edge visuals without upgrades. For developers, it expands reach into markets like India where console and PC ownership is lower. However, cloud gaming still depends on low-latency broadband, which remains uneven globally. The move strengthens NVIDIA's ecosystem, challenging competitors like Xbox Cloud Gaming and Amazon Luna in the race for mainstream adoption.
