MIT's SEAL Framework Marks Major Leap Toward Self-Improving AI Systems

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Researchers at MIT have unveiled a new framework called SEAL (Self-Adapting LLMs) that enables large language models to update their own weights using self-generated training data—a critical step toward truly self-evolving artificial intelligence.
